The stone is held in a sculptural claw setting, elevated by a beautifully split, tapering mount that fans elegantly toward the centre. Crafted in 9ct yellow gold and hallmarked for London 1970, it carries all the hallmarks of the era, bold design, considered proportions, and a focus on showcasing the striking gemstone.
