This striking antique Victorian ring centres on a glowing solid fire Opal that seems lit from within, flashing soft citrus, bright reds, honey and green tones as it catches the light. The Opal is framed within a substantial 15ct yellow gold bezel/crown setting, while the hand engraved shoulders showcase the intricate workmanship that makes Victorian jewellery so captivating.
The combination of richly hued old gold, the hand engraving and luminous Opal gives this ring a warmth and character, the wide band cigar band is beautifully crafted and super easy to wear. Handcrafted c1880’s in 15ct yellow gold, likely Australian, the maker’s mark is obscured and therefore we can not attribute to a specific maker.
