A beautiful vintage ring centred with a large oval cabochon solid Opal, alive with a stunning kaleidoscope of colour throughout. Against the soft milky body colour, flashes of pastel green, yellow, orange & red appear as the stone moves, the kind of Opal that rewards a second look every time.
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the Opal is framed by a wonderfully detailed rope-twist border with fine millegrain edging, leading into elegant split shoulders and a slender band. The setting has just enough decorative detail to complement the stone without competing with that incredible natural colour.
