A breathtaking starburst of colour and craftsmanship, this 1940’s piece radiates Edwardian-inspired charm with its luminous play of Opal fire and the regal sparkle of rubies. Handcrafted in rich 9ct yellow gold, each crystal Opal shimmers with flashes of pastel green, blue, and orange — beautifully complemented by the deep pink-red accents of round-cut rubies nestled between the petals.
The design, arranged in celestial motif centred around a larger solid Opal, adorned with gorgeous gold work throughout, giving this jewel a timeless presence whether worn as a pendant or a brooch. The back reveals both a bale to the top and a classic brooch fitting, making it wonderfully versatile. Fully hallmarked to the bale for manufacture in London, 1942.
