Steeped in history and full of quiet character, this reproduction French maritime medal dates to around 1918 and has been beautifully reimagined as a wearable pendant. The sterling silver medal is framed in a custom 9ct yellow gold mount and suspended from a 10ct yellow gold Diamond-set bail, adding just the right amount of sparkle without taking away from the beautifully worn detail of the medal itself. It’s the kind of piece that invites questions and tells a different story every time it’s worn.
The reverse features a wonderfully detailed maritime motif complete with anchor and seafaring emblems, along with a blank banner ready for a personal engraving - making it just as meaningful to gift as it is to keep. A truly unique piece blending antique history with modern wearability. Around the outside frame ‘MARINE MERCHANDE’ (Merchant Marine) ‘HONNEUR TRAVIL’ (Honor Work).
