An original Art Deco ring of remarkable rarity. Bright old European cut Diamonds totalling 1.67ct are arranged across a bold geometric plaque, their broad facets throwing flashes of light from every angle. Deep blue Carré-cut Sapphires form crisp linear accents, bringing that unmistakable early Deco contrast.
Handcrafted in platinum c1920, the stepped openwork mount is finished with fine millegrain borders and Diamond-set triangular shoulders. Substantial on the hand yet beautifully light to wear, finding an original period ring of this scale, condition and distinctive architectural design is increasingly rare.
