An exceptional antique Albert chain featuring beautifully elongated trombone links paired with richly textured lover's-knot connectors, handcrafted in Sterling Silver with hallmarks for William Walter Cashmore, Birmingham 1897. Full of character and handsome late Victorian detailing.
The alternating link design gives the piece a wonderfully balanced feel, structured yet fluid, while the original dog clips and oversized rings add that unmistakable utilitarian elegance Albert chains are loved for. Completing the piece is a sterling silver T-bar hallmarked for Tozer, Kemsley & Fisher, Birmingham 1912, adding another fascinating layer to its history and evolution over time.
