A delightful Antique mourning locket featuring double sided rectangular panels set with black enamel, highly decorated with a central gold flower with celestial themed floral embellishments.
The back and front are identical except for one detail, the flower on the front has a tiny seed pearl to the centre, an intentional design detail.
The locket opens via an etched clasp to reveal two oval compartments, with the original glass panels with replacement white paper, ready for you to add your own personal memento.
Beautifully handcrafted on 9ct yellow gold c1890.
