A beautifully detailed Victorian Chalcedony pendant, handcrafted around 1880 and rich in period charm. The design features five cabochon Chalcedony stones, each with a soft, glowing green tone, arranged within an ornate gold framework, with the largest bezel set to the base. Intricate cannetille work, with fine wire detailing, granulation, and delicate scrolls, adds texture and depth.
Handcrafted in solid 18ct yellow gold and weighing 7.8 grams, suspended on a large oval bale, this pendant has a satisfying sense of substance while remaining elegant and wearable. The craftsmanship is classic Victorian, decorative, considered, and beautifully balanced, making it a timeless piece with real presence.
