A striking interplay of colour, light, and craftsmanship. This stunning antique Victorian ring centres on a rich teal Sapphire, beautifully set within a marquise constellation of eight old European cut Diamonds totalling .88ct, each stone glowing with that soft, romantic sparkle only hand-cut Diamonds can offer. The Sapphire is a replacement stone, the original was in very poor condition, but we knew this ring had to shine again!
Handcrafted in 15ct yellow gold c1880, the individual crown-collet settings allow light to move freely through the stones, enhancing their brilliance from every angle. The shoulders are intricately carved with arrow motifs, adding both texture and symbolism to the piece, strength, direction, and intention woven into its design. A thoughtfully replaced Sapphire ensures the ring remains vibrant and wearable, while preserving the antique soul.
