Striking in its contrast and elegance, this rare Victorian era mourning ring showcases the timeless appeal of banded Agate. Handcrafted c1850’s in rich 18ct yellow gold, the bold cabochon Agate displays a natural concentric band, perfectly framing a single old cut Diamond set at the centre.
The gorgeous shoulders feature ornate scrolling detail, adding a touch of opulence to the otherwise refined design. With its interplay of deep black, white banding, and sparkling Diamond, this piece captures the Victorian fascination with bold gemstones and symbolic jewels.
