This striking pendant, lovingly converted from a brooch in-house by R&V, features a Nephrite Jade in Scabbard form with the ornate handle set with natural Seed Pearls extending down one side, an ornate four-pointed star houses a singular seed pearl near the end, and a wrap around in Rose Gold at the mid way point with a concealed bale nice and large to fit a multitude of chain sizes.
Beautifully handcrafted c1880 by Australian Jewellery Firm Davis & Sons (est.1883 Melbourne), on 15ct Yellow Gold with hallmarks indicating Australian, with the hanging fleece for 15ct Gold purity, 15ct, Lion Head. Gorgeous to wear, this pendant sits wonderfully well on with great proportions and a weight of 5.82 grams.
