Richly detailed and completely captivating, this antique Victorian pendant is handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold c1880 and set with faceted Amethysts and Peridots in an ornate spherical design. Each gemstone sits within a decorative scalloped setting, surrounded by intricate beadwork and scrolling gold details that continue around the entire piece ending with a large Amethyst set to the base, in the typical Victorian Archaeological-revival style of the era.
Finished with a generous round bail, its rounded form offers something beautiful from every angle, a striking example of Victorian craftsmanship with rich jewel-toned colour.
