This precious all original Antique cornucopia (horn of plenty) fob Pendant suspends a two tone Rose/yellow gold horn of plenty with striking decorative yellow gold etched details to the top showing floral etched work suspended from a double fancy link chain with a decorative slider in Rose and Yellow Gold, ending to a cylindrical swivel top with original dog clip.
Wonderfully handcrafted on 9ct mixed gold in the Victorian era, this flawless example is a very wearable slice of Victoriana with the total drop being 10cm it makes for a dramatic pendant on.
*In classical antiquity the cornucopia from the Latin Cornu (horn) and copia (abundance) also called the horn of plenty, was a symbol for abundance and nourishment. Used largely in Mythology, in more modern times the horn of plenty became synonymous with wealth and good luck.
