This incredibly rare all original Georgian c1780 ‘stomacher’ brooch is a romantic ode to nature. A bold foliate design sparkles with highly ornate ‘pinched’ set rose cut diamonds all centred around a luminous natural baroque pearl.
The silver-topped 9ct rose gold adds a subtle antique blush to the whole piece, elegant, historic, and completely enchanting, presenting in outstanding original condition.

Without a doubt this Georgian floral brooch is one of the oldest and most exquisite pieces we have handled. Known as Stomacher Brooches, these robust pieces were designed to be worn on ball gowns on the bodice.
The Rose Cut Diamonds, specifically designed to ‘dance under candlelight’ are absolutely breathtaking as is the natural Pearl, with silver/pink overtones & excellent lustre.
