Such a beautiful example of Edwardian romance. This antique ring pairs rich purple Amethysts with a delicate central row of creamy Seed Pearls, all arranged in an elongated statement setting. Handcrafted in warm, rosy hued 9ct yellow gold c1910 the shoulders are beautifully engraved with fine period detailing, the sort of workmanship that gives antique jewellery its unmistakable soul.
The contrast of violet Amethyst against soft Seed Pearl is especially lovely, with that slightly ornate, wonderfully feminine look the Edwardians did so well. It feels special without being overly precious, a ring made to be worn and adored all over again.
