This beautiful, rare Antique bangle made by West Australian Jeweller E S Lazarus & Co estd. 1910 features an Oval cut claw set Synthetic Ruby to four Round cut Garnet topped doublets to each point flanked by a cluster of three Seed Pearls ornately beads set in triangular shaped mounts, with decorative swirl flourishes. Closing with a hinged clasp and original safety chain.
Beautifully handcrafted on 9ct Yellow Gold with an internal circumference of 6cm, this bangle is a stunning piece of wearable history.
Brief History of the maker:
E S Lazarus started trading in Murray St, Perth in 1910 initially using the black swan maker’s stamp, later changing to a fish, this piece features the swam indicating this is an early piece from this maker. Lazarus closed his manufacturing business in 1929 whereby he took over the management of Aronson & Co in Western Australia.
