With an electric blue Opal Doublet bezel set to the centre with all the pretty floral details indicative of the Arts & Crafts Era, handcrafted in Australia by Apex c1920 on 9ct Yellow Gold this lovely piece that is so easy to fall in love with.
With the Opal showing gorgeous flash of paler blues and greens. Just gorgeous on with a subtle yet bold look all at once, she is definitely the whole package, in exceptionally good condition.
About the maker:
Apex was the name used by G.E. Rodd. George Rodd established his workshop in 1919 and began making trophies and medallions soon expanding into cutlery and jewellery. By the 1930's Rodd was the leading manufacturer of jewellery in Australia. He used the trade name Apex until the firm became a limited company in 1948 when the name changed to Rodd.
