This regal Princess ring features a domed design set with cascading Freshwater Pearls and Rubies – just stunning!
Beautifully handcrafted c1940 on 14ct yellow gold with the quintessential ornate crown settings, swirl gallery and bead shoulders.

One of my all-time favourite designs, these vintage rings are known as 'Thai Princess Rings'. They were made popular in the west during WWII when soldiers started sending them home to their sweethearts. The name comes from both the design (which is in the shape of royal crowns) and the people who wore them originally (the royal family).
