An incredible Sputnik ring by H Stern, Brazil, featuring nineteen bezel set mixed gemstones (Amethyst, Garnet, Tourmaline, Aquamarine & Citrine) set around a central dome to an open back with a swirl gallery that is contoured to hug the finger.

Beautifully handcrafted on 18ct Yellow Gold with a slight rosy hue, these iconic rings are a rare & hard to find item, they are a firm favourite with jewellery and gem lovers globally.
This is a genuine H Stern Sputnik ring & features his classic crown Maker's Mark.
About the design: H Stern was commissioned in the 1950’s to make jewellery to showcase the vast array of gemstones available in Brazil, and so the Bombe style jewellery was born, later in the 1960’s they became known as ‘Sputnik’ to reflect the Space Race that was happening at the time.
