Ancient history reimagined as a seriously good piece of jewellery. This silver Grecian coin re-strike features the striking profile of Alexander the Great. The reverse carries the classic Athena seated on a throne holding Nike, the winged Goddess of victory, together with a Greek inscription, beautifully picked out by the aged, darker finish of the silver.
Framed in 14ct yellow gold with a substantial gold bale, the contrast between warm polished gold and antiqued silver gives it real presence. A fabulous nod to the ancient world without pretending to be an ancient coin itself. Chain shown is for display only.
