This captivating rare Antique features two bezel set cabochon moonstones facing in the East/West direction divided by a lush and intricate 18ct gold cannetille embellished centre that splays outward towards the base creating a gorgeous shape, suspended from a round bale & handcrafted c1840.
*Cannetille work was inspired by embroidery work from 18th century France that was so popular at the time, similar to filigree work it features fine gold wires or thinly hammered sheets.
