An exceptional rare & beautiful pair of Victorian pendeloque earrings, handcrafted c1880 in lush 15ct yellow gold and adorned with intricate cannetille work. The beautifully detailed cannetille tops feature delicate applied wire and floral beadwork, leading into elongated drop forms decorated with finely worked gold cannetille decorations that create wonderful texture and depth.
Suspended from sturdy kidney wires, the earrings move gently as they’re worn, catching the light and drawing the eye without feeling heavy. The long tapering silhouette gives them an elegant presence on, while the ornate goldwork reflects the exceptional craftsmanship of the Victorian era.
