A beautifully detailed late Victorian-era buckle ring crafted in solid 9ct gold and hallmarked for Chester, 1900, with a wonderfully hefty gold weight of 6.20 grams, giving it some serious heft & presence, with hallmarks for Chester, 1900.
The classic buckle motif, long associated with loyalty and enduring connection, is bold, sculptural, and perfectly proportioned. Three Diamonds are flush-set into the point of the strap, adding soft flashes of light that lift the design, the contrast between polished elements and matte-etched surfaces is particularly striking.
The wide band is floral-etched around the entire circumference, showcasing intricate hand engraving that continues uninterrupted, a detail rarely seen and highly prized in pieces of this era.
Substantial yet comfortable, this ring feels incredibly wearable while still delivering serious antique character. It’s a piece that speaks to craftsmanship first, decorative, symbolic, and built to last well beyond its 125 years.

Resizing is not recommended, though it can be done this would cause a smooth base to the bottom of the band
