Absolutely stunning! These earrings feature two original 22ct yellow gold Antique type 1 Liberty Head Coins, 1851 & 1853. With the beautiful iconography to the front and back, featuring a Liberty bust facing left wearing a tiara with the word ‘LIBERTY’ etched, surrounded by thirteen stars and to the back ‘1 DOLLAR' to a pretty wreath & ribbon surround.
Mounted from two .20ct Cognac Diamonds, fitted with post and butterfly closures.
What we love:
Rare and highly sought after, Liberty Head coins were stuck in the US between 1849 and 1854, designed by James B Longacre.
Chic and so easy to wear, the high carat gold contrasts so well with the Cognac Diamonds, creating a lux look and feel to these earrings.
