A gorgeous pair of rare and exquisite all original Georgian earrings, featuring stunning triple chandelier drops showing floral & leaf motifs, set with sparkling foil backed green and clear paste stones.
Handcrafted c1820 on silver back and front and suspended from 9ct rose gold hooks.

At 204 years old, these wonderful earrings are in amazing condition! So robustly made and beautiful, they are just as wearable today as they were when they were first made.
A Brief history of Paste:
Paste jewellery is a special type of flint glass that emulates a number of gemstones. The origins of Paste jewellery date back to the 18ct Century to a jeweller named Georges Frederic Stras, who worked as a jeweller to the King when he moved from Strasbourg to Paris in 1724.
