This gorgeous, very rare & all original Georgian Stomacher Brooch is centred around an ornate folate panel of Rose Cut Diamonds, set within pinched silver settings.
The Diamonds are bright, white, sparkly, and well-matched with one another. Suspended from the central panel is a separate drop with elegant foliate motifs, symmetrical in design, further set with sparkling old Rose Cut Diamonds, with two floral set drops to each side with yet more Diamonds, twenty-seven in total at 3.55 carats.
The brooch is fitted with a C-shaped safety catch and pin in gold, along with gold links between the sections.
Beautifully handcrafted c1780-1800 on silver & rose gold, typical to the Georgian Era.
