A rare and radiant treasure from the turn of the century, this antique hinged scarf clip is a true celebration of Edwardian craftsmanship.
Hallmarked for Birmingham,1900, masterfully handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold with a rich texture & gorgeous floral cannetille embellishments.
The central panel features a sparkling old mine cut Diamond nestled in a radiant starburst setting, flanked by two vibrant red garnets bead set in square bezels. Each end is capped with intricate granulation and rope-twist detailing whilst a fine beaded border adds the final flourish of elegance.
Originally designed to secure a scarf or cravat, this versatile beauty can easily be worn today suspended on a chain as a pendant or as a creative addition to your favourite accessory stack.
