A rare celestial marvel from the Edwardian era, this antique pendant—once a brooch has been thoughtfully converted by R&V into a wearable work of art.
Handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold c1900 featuring an enchanting design reminiscent of planetary orbits: a textured elliptical frame encircled by a smooth and richly textured golden rings.
At the centre of the rings a glowing trio of natural opals, their pastel fire flashing ethereal greens, pinks, and blues. Beneath them hangs a single seed pearl in a geometric drop setting, lending balance and delicate movement to the overall composition.
Rich in symbolism, evoking the Edwardians fascination with all things astronomical, this one-of-a-kind piece is an antique with cosmic charm, ideal for dreamers, stargazers, and lovers of the rare.
