ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN c1900 ‘FRONT & BACK’ PICTURE LOCKET 9ct GOLD

This beautiful antique ‘front & back’ picture locket, handcrafted around 1900 with unmistakable Edwardian romance & details. Handcrafted in warm 9ct yellow gold, it has a lovely presence without feeling heavy, the softly domed form framed by elegant scrollwork and delicate beaded detailing that catches the light from every angle. There’s something so personal about these gorgeous lockets.
The interior opens to reveal space for two photographs, just as it would have over a century ago, unfortunately the original window has been lost to time. Stamped to the reverse ‘9ct F&B’, it’s a genuine front and back locket, gold on both sides, a detail collectors always look for.
Measuring 2.7cm and weighing 4.06 grams, it’s in excellent condition, with crisp detailing and a gorgeous golden glow that speaks to its careful life so far.
