A beautifully preserved Edwardian sterling silver vesta case, crafted with understated elegance and a touch of celestial charm. The front is set with six blue Sapphires arranged in a constellation-like design, each connected by engraved lines, giving the piece both artistry and symbolism. The hinged lid opens smoothly, revealing the original match compartment, miraculously still containing four original matches, a rare surprise that adds to its historic value.
The case is hallmarked and inscribed with the date 14.10.13, anchoring it firmly in it the late Edwardian era, with full German hallmarks to the outside and inside rim.
