A joyful explosion of colour, this iconic Sputnik ring features a dome top bezel set with all the gemstones, Aquamarine, Citrine, Amethyst, Garnet & Tourmaline, handcrafted in 18ct gold c1950.

About the designer: H Stern was commissioned in the 1950’s to make jewellery to showcase the vast array of gemstones available in Brazil, and so the Bombe style jewellery was born, later in the 1960’s they became known as ‘Sputnik’ to reflect the Space Race that was happening at the time. H Stern designed these rings in three sizes, small, medium and Large – this is a medium version (which is still very substantial).
