This darling vintage c1940’s Opal & Diamond pendant is a beautiful example of the era’s love for elegant femininity and intricate detail. Handcrafted in 14ct yellow and white gold, the pendant centres around a luminous oval Opal displaying dreamy flashes of pastel blues, greens, soft lilac & orange tones that shift beautifully with movement. Surrounding the Opal is an ornate openwork frame adorned with sparkling Diamonds (TCW = .45ct) their crisp brilliance adding the perfect contrast against the Opal’s ethereal glow.
The elongated silhouette and finely detailed scrollwork give the piece a graceful, almost lace-like quality, while the combination of warm yellow gold and cool white gold enhances every delicate detail beautifully.
