Exquisite and rare, these antique earrings are a fine example of Etruscan Revival craftsmanship, showcasing the ornate detail and sculptural design that made the style so sought-after in the 19th century.
Handcrafted c1900 in 18ct yellow gold, the earrings feature intricate applied goldwork, delicate wire details, and granulation-inspired motifs, all centred around luminous natural seed Pearls. From each earring dangle three pointed gold drops, adding graceful movement and drama when worn.
The upper post and butterfly fittings have been added in later years in 9ct gold. The combination of Pearls, elaborate gold detailing, and the statement silhouette creates earrings that are as much miniature works of art as they are jewels.
