AUTHENTIC BRONZE 4th CENTURY HEROD AGRIPPA PRUTAH COIN PENDANT 18ct YELLOW GOLD

The oldest piece we’ve ever seen, this authentic ancient coin from the 4th century depicting three branches of wheat & ancient text ‘Agrippa’, these coins were only minted in Jerusalem in the Year 42 AD. (see image below) NB: The obverse is worn.
The Coin is beautifully collet set with an organic edge to conform with the shape of the coin within an ornate etched square frame suspending an oval bale on 18ct Yellow gold, comes with 18ct chain, handcrafted in Italy by renowned jewellers Uno-A-Erre.

Brief History:
Agrippa 1 was the son of Aristobulusand Berenice, and was a grandson of Herod the Great. Agrippa spent much of his boyhood at the Imperial courtin Rome. His friend, the Emperor Caligula, granted him the former territories of his uncles Herod Philip IIand Herod Antipas. The Emperor Claudius later also added Judaea. The most common prutah issued by Agrippa I shows a royal fringed umbrella-like canopy on the obverse, with the inscription 'ΑΓΡΙΠΑ BACIΛEΩC' ('King Agrippa') in Greek, while the reverse shows three ears of barley between two leaves with the year. All the other coins of Herod Agrippa I contain graven images, with portraits of the Emperor or even of Agrippa himself.
