A true statement of Antique artistry, this exquisite brooch showcases a rich golden Citrine, the large, faceted oval gem glowing with warmth and vibrancy. The Citrine is cradled within an ornate mount of sterling silver and 9ct gold, adorned with delicate floral and foliate motifs that bear the unmistakable touch of Rhoda Wager’s craftsmanship.
Attributed to Rhoda Wager, one of our most prolific Arts & Crafts jewellers who was renowned for her intricate designs and botanical inspirations, unfortunately she didn’t stamp a huge amount of her work, but this one is unmistakably her, with beautiful textured blooms and soft organic shapes. Dating to the early 20th century c1900, this brooch speaks of a time when jewellery was as much about individual artistry as adornment.
Complete with a safety chain for peace of mind, this is a brooch that will add character and history to any collection.
