Such a rare and beautiful French Art Deco Period Ring c1930.

The shape and style of this ring are so indicative of the design for the Deco Period.  With a long octagonal top which centres a dark blue oval-cut Sapphire of a very substantial 1.30ct, the Sapphire is surrounded by 16 rose and table cut Diamonds, to a further boarder of mixed cut blue Sapphires.  All wonderfully crafted in solid, luscious 18k Yellow Gold.

The under gallery of this ring is just as ornate, featuring decorative pieced work, with upswept shoulders to the centre of the octagonal top, this ring is a unique, original French Art Deco piece.

Looks beautiful on the hand, and presents in excellent Vintage Condition, all the stones are very secure, this beautiful ring has been incredibly well crafted in France.

Features a prominent French Mark of an Eagles Head, a Hallmark first issued in France and used since 1838 to denote gold purity of at least 18k.
