LATE ART DECO (c1940) AQUAMARINE AND DIAMOND RING ON 18ct YELLOW & WHITE GOLD
Such a gorgeous ring! This Art Deco Ring features an Icey blue Aquamarine, in a transition cut, a rare cut, that sits somewhere between the Old European Cut and the Modern Brilliant Cut, so prevalent today. These stones were produced between the 1920’s and 1940’s, bridging the gap between old and modern cuts. The Centre Aquamarine is prong set, and is flanked to the sides by 3 round, bezel set diamonds, in a triangular shape.
With a wonderful pierced gallery, featuring hand crafted open work, this stunning piece is constructed in 18ct yellow, with the Bridge and setting being 18ct White Gold.
This ring would make an ideal Vintage Engagement Ring for someone looking for a unique piece.
