This impressive Cocktail Ring, from the Retro Era, circa 1960’s features a superb, large, Emerald-Cut Synthetic Colour-Change Corundum, imitating Alexandrite, (in gemmology terms). This Corundum is a very substantial 11.88ct, total weight of ring is 6.82G!
This beautiful gem displays rich purple colours, which change to light lavender and purplish blues at different angles, and in different lights setting.
Wonderfully hand crafted in 9ct Yellow gold, the stone is claw set, on an open setting, with upswept shoulders, to allow maximum light in. on a sturdy shank. Comes in excellent vintage condition, with wear commensurate with age, nothing that distracts from the beauty of this ring.
