A beautiful example of early Australian Jewellery manufacturing by Rosenthal, Aronson & Co this ring features a multi claw set round cut Sapphire to the centre with four Natural Seed Pearls ornately crown set to each point with the shoulders extending on each side to form an open triangular shape, rising to a semi-round band.
Beautifully handcrafted by Rosenthal, Aronson & Co on 15ct Yellow Gold and bearing the hallmarks for this firm, a flag, along with 15 and a ‘hanging fleece’ denoting the Manufacturing Jewellers’ Association guarantee mark.
*Rosenthal, Aronson & Co of Little Collins Street Melbourne established in 1878 until 1903 whereupon Rosenthal left the partnership & the firm continued as Aronson & Co until the Great Depression in 1930’s.
